Saturday saw us setting up a wedding fair at a new venue, Dawlish Manor House, which has recently been granted a licence to perform weddings. We were joined by Pop Goes The Weasel, Elite Mobile Event Bars and Winsor Flower Studio who were decorating the Mayors Parlour, setting up a bar and providing a florist display.
Once the venue was set up, we returned bright and early on Sunday morning with just shy of 30 exhibitors to show off the beautiful manor house.
The wedding fair was a long day (10am all the way through till 4pm!), but we all saw some very serious brides and grooms, many of which confirmed bookings on the day! Exhibitors – you’re doing something right!
Out of our free goody bags, we only had 7 left. The bags contained including a free copy of SW Bride magazine, Confetti magazine, a packet of Shropshire Petals, a packet of seeds from Weddings in a Teacup and a copy of Dream Wedding Magazine).
After the drinks and bags were collected, the guests could enjoy the manor house, the live music and the five filled rooms.
Upstairs the public were wowed with the talented hands of Dan Brazier performing his astounding magic.
Near the end of the day the Dawlish Town Mayor and The Distinguished Toastmaster drew the winner of the “Win your wedding at the Manor House” competition. The winner was Rachel Dobbin!
