It’s certainly been a busy few weeks over this years festive period, but we can finally sit down and enjoy Christmas!
This years Christmas started nice and early on the 5th of November at our “Warm up to Christmas” event in Tavistock Town Hall. This event is always a great one to start the festive season. This year we had just shy of 600 people through, which is about average. We also had the added entertainment of having the “Tavistock Church Schools Federation Choir” perform for us.
The following day we returned to Launceston where we saw just shy of 300 people, which was down slightly on the previous year, but is still fine for the little town of Launceston.
The following Saturday we headed into The Plymouth Christmas Show, which was held at Plymouth Guildhall. This was a rather large event with a huge number of exhibitors, non-stop entertainment and even a Santa’s Grotto, ran in aide of St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth.
We stopped counting people in at this event at around 1.45pm when we reached over 2,000 people.
We had a wide range of entertainment join us at this event, Plymouth Party Princesses, Compton All Saints C of E Primary Choir, Oreston Community Academy Choir, Lucy Upton and Tom Bewers.
The following week we returned to Totnes Civic Hall for the Totnes Christmas Market where we saw just over 600 people.
Finally we headed to Saltash for the first day of the Saltash Christmas Festival. This is always a well attended event, with snow cannons, live entertainment, a huge market and this year even a fire breather!
There are far too many pictures to link to, so please do have a browse of the Saltash Christmas Festival’s Facebook Page.
